hello grade 4's!

Here's one last mini-music lesson.

Here's a mini music lesson for you to play and sing along with.
Use this Chrome Music Lab template to try and recreate the melody of Possum Trot. The melody needs to be filled in above the bordun accompaniment that I have provided. The first note is there for you. You can also use the mic feature if you want to create some lyrics to sing with the song. You can also add a drum track at the bottom. Good luck!

Partner songs are different songs that can be sung together. I had a little fun with a couple this week. Sing each song seperately and then try singing with them together!
So let's put them together old timey style!

During difficult times, many people find inspiration and comfort in music. I think this is my favorite version of this song. It was recorded years before there was a need for social distancing, virtual choirs and online concerts. The organizers brought together musicians from all over the world to show that we are all one world when it comes to music.
And in honour of Willie Nelson's birthday...
